Homestuck Generation 2 Headcannons

Sorry, I know... I know... I have way to many OC's and this is just plain silly, but I just had to!
I super double promise I won't be doing anything with these characters outside of designing them now, this was just something I wanted to do.
I also... well, while I was drawing them I couldn't help but come up with little bits of insight about each of them, which I will now share with you, going from right to left, because that's how I drew them, and I'm dyslexic.

CJ: I came up with CJ a few days ago, and started bringing her into fruition with these two fan snapchats (averylilith.deviantart.com/art…, averylilith.deviantart.com/art…) just because... well, I really love JohnRoxy! It's a little unusual for me to get super into a cannon straight ship, but this one just hits all the right notes for me. John and Roxy were both my favourite character on their own at some point, as my favourite Homestuck character seems to change on a weekly basis, (like literally, two weeks ago it was Rose, last week it was Jade, and now it's Roxy again), and I just adore their interactions with each other, and the way their relationship was foreshadowed since practically the second arch got me more and more invested the more I thought about it, especially in Roxy's case.  Both Roxy and Dirk grew up completely alone in the world apart from each other, and even then were miles apart, and those feelings of isolation manifested themselves differently in each of them. In Roxy's case, she's always been written as incredibly lonely and longing for friendship and companionship, which is evident in her flirting, although she never had a proper outlet for it. John is the perfect solution to this, as he himself struggles with certain feelings of isolation as we saw grow over time, due to the death of his father, his three year journey with Jade, and eventually, the abandonment of a reality where all of the people he cared about were dead and gone. But the one person he brought with him from one reality to the next was Roxy, and they're the only two people that share in the memories of the sad things that took place in the previous timeline. Although we don't get to see much of this, as it's quite close to the end of the story that this happens, but it's safe to say that the two develop a very, very close bond because of this, and are probably able to reconcile with each other in their loneliness and thrive in the new world they created together with friends they can finally be around.
I know Calliope JR. isn't a four letter name, but it just came to me, and the idea was so cute I couldn't get it out of my head. It just stuck, and I'm sorry. Roxy loves Calliope, John loves Roxy, their daughter is Calliope JR.

TLDR, I created CJ because I like JohnRoxy.

Korina: Remember the Christmas snapchat series I did a while back? While, as you may recall, I mentioned in the description of this picture; averylilith.deviantart.com/art…, that the little girl in Rose's arms may or may not have been her and Kanaya's daughter... while, the truth is that I secretly designed her with her being so in mind, but wasn't sure I wanted to admit that when I was on the fence about doing something like designing non-cannon-cannon-inclusion OC's... But now that I made CJ I can finally outright claim her to be Kanaya and Rose's adopted daughter, Korina! I decided to make her symbol a representation of the big and little dipper, ursus major and minor, because I like to picture them as the mama and baby bears of the sky, and well... if her mother is Kanaya, then that's pretty fitting, don't you think?

Eben: Why is his name Eben? I don't know, he just looks like an Eben! I think that would be a very Davepeta way to name a baby. Anyway, as for Eben's biologic origins, I don't quite know if Davepeta has the ability to produce children... logically it doesn't make sense, since they are half alien and the troll reproductive system is all kinds of crazy, so I figure instead of dealing with all that, being the science lover that she is, Jade probably just ecto-birthed a baby that was half her, and half Dave, since at least that would technically be two-thirds genetically accurate to a baby with her non-binary cat-bird-ghost partner... with Dave's permission of course. Look how much of a nerd he is.

Kittie: Karkat and Dave's adopted daughter. I gave her braids because I vaguely remember seeing a gender-bent version of Karkat somewhere that had braids like that, and I thought it looked very cute. I'm not one-hundred percent sure why I made her symbol the eye of providence, but I thiiink the most logical reason I can give is that it's 3 in the morning, and I already used up all of my creativity. Sorry. I think Dave definitely finds in funny though, and chides her about it, her sporting a symbol of the Illuminati, which he def ironically believes in. I named her Kittie because... well... She's Karkat's daughter and Karkat is a cat-crab and this was just an important decision I had to make.
